Young mayor of the City of San Carlos, Omar Ahmad (also spelled as Omar Ahmed), died this morning of a heart attack. He was only 46. I learned of him when he ran for public office in 2008. Later I watched a TED Talk video in which Omar explained why writing letters to politicians by hand was a good idea. See the video here:
