Art for Partition

‘Art for Partition’ held at UC Berkeley Skydeck, on Saturday, April 6, was a fundraising event for the benefit of ‘The 1947 Partition Archive’ project.  The program featured readings by Bapsi Sidhwa and Roshni Rustomji-Kerns, a presentation by Dr. Priya Satia, testimonies by partition survivors, songs by Anupama Chandratreya, and an auction of ‘Partition Art’.

‘The 1947 Partition Archive’ project (http://www.1947partitionarchive.org/) of collecting testimonies of partition survivors is run by a group of volunteers under the leadership of Dr. Guneeta Singh Bhalla.
