Every time one of these cruise ships came, the economic activity on the island picked up.  The timid ones would come out of the ship, explore the vicinity of the harbor, and then go back to the safety of their room in the ship.  The intrepid ones would be seen at the far reaches of the island.

Magens Bay Beach in St. Thomas is definitely one of the finest beaches in the world.  And this-he does not say it lightly--he has been to a few places on this planet.
