The movie 'Don't Breathe' is a masterpiece!
A long-haul flight provides a good opportunity
to catch up on the latest flicks. In the
recent sixteen-hour flight I survived, I watched several movies from Hollywood and
Bollywood, and one from Tollywood. Of all these artistic endeavors, ‘Don’t Breathe’
(2016), really stood out. But before we
all get up and give a round of applause to writer and director Federico Alvarez
for creating a masterpiece, let’s do a little nitpicking. Let’s look at the grammar errors in the short
movie description.
“A group of teens break into a blind man’s
home, thinking they’ll get away with the perfect murder.”
Group, break, they…Bad English!
Here is how it can be improved.
A group of teens breaks into a blind man’s
home, thinking it will get away with the perfect murder.
Or,
Three teens break into a blind man’s home,
thinking they’ll get away with the perfect murder.
